Hibiscus leaves turn yellow

hi all, one of my hibiscus plant leaves turn yellow almost 100% while the other hisbiscus plant having 10%. i did add top soil n fertiliser but somehow its waiting to die off. last and this month my area having lot of rain. appreciate for any advice. tq

If you covered the lowest part of the stem, that could lead to the yellowing. Remove any of the topsoil/fertilizer that is touching the trunk. Also check the leaves for small insects. They could be aphids which suck the sap from the stems and leaves. Spray them off with a strong jet of water.

thank you for the advice. will inspect the trunk immediately.
