Hi Guys! I'm hailing from the wonderful bluegrass state, Kentucky!
I'm planning to do a BIG garden this year to lessen the cost of my grocery bill and cut down on the additives in my foods!

Mostly I've done flower gardening and a small garden with various pepper plants, so this will be new for me. I joined here to hopefully learn from some more seasoned vets!

Well, I am sure someone on this forum can answer just about any question you may have. I would suggest that you peruse the Organic Gardening forum on this site. This will give you a bit of understanding about the ways to be successful in your growing of your foods

Hi there, Mrs. Wilson! I wish you great success with your garden project, I am planning something similar for the same reasons, but mostly because I'm worried about the chemicals they use to treat most of my favorite crops. It's just so scary to think about it. Anyways, I hope you like it here and find all the info you might be looking for =D

Yes, I discovered that a while ago and was totally terrified... hve you checked the list of the dirtiest crops? Needless to say I'm skipping those as much as you can sadly the place where I'm going is not very good to grow fruit trees

Aww, well maybe you can have fruit imported by a nice forum member who grows it, in exchange for something that you can grow there. Like a garden swap!b

That sounds like a wonderful idea It could work Right now I'm living in a place where is possible to grow almost everything, hard to believe I'll be trading it for a place where not many things can grow, heh!
