Hello! I love to garden, although I don't have too much going on outside right now due to the coldness. I have grown broccoli before during the winter, but just didn't get anything planted this year for winter.
I do have a small herb garden with a few herbs that stay growing during the winter. The garlic chives aren't looking so hot right now, but they are one of my most favorite and most used during growing season!
During vegetable garden season we have a huge garden. I most enjoy growing tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers (hot and mild), cucumbers and melons. I always start off with growing cilantro but with this Texas heat it doesn't take long for it to go to seed.
