Hello. I started vegetable seedlings indoors and the were doing great. Tomatoes and squash were already 5-8". I have them in a glass aquarium with a grow light and cover to keep humidity in. Recently I noticed gnats in the soil. So after looking at ways to get rid rid of them I spread some vaseline on yellow cards and placed them in. I also got a dish of apple cider vinegar and dish soap and placed it in. This was last night. Well this morning there was 1 gnat in the vinegar, but the big issue is that my plants look scorched. They're drooping, leaves wilted and stems bending over. The entire tank reeked of vinegar and I know it can be killer. I removed it and removed the cover so it can air out. I also misted them to help out.
My question is are the plants done for? Was it actually the vinegar evaporating?
Can anything be done to help them?
After a few hours they look worse....
