Hello from Sacramento, Ca!

Hello all. I am a beginner gardener living in Sacramento, CA. I just moved onto a property with 10 acres. I am very anxious to start a garden along with a million other projects.
My first obstacle has been my soil. Its ike a really dusty, rocky dirt and its been a pain to work with. I would love to pick your brain and ask a hundred questions. Also would like to get some ideas for where to grow, ehat to grow and how to grow it on my property. I will upload some photos of the yard in hopes that some of you can help me. Pease reply and let me know what thread to post in with my pictures and cry for help!

10 acres would be wonderful! I can only dream of that right now, living over here in Japan!

One thing I would recommend is looking up your hardiness zone and adding it to your profile - it can help with ascertaining what can grow well, what might not grow as well, and things like that!
