Hello from galveston, texas! first time gardener :)

Hello all! I am a first time gardener and we live in an apartment so I am limited to potted plants. I've started out with radishes, kale, and some green peppers because I've always wanted to be able to grow edibles like my mother does back in Kansas. Any tips, pointers or just hellos are welcome and appreciated! I am a college student so money saving tips for planting are useful as well . Thanks!
