I'm a dedicated black-thumb gardener. :) My mom always had/has a gorgeous garden. I have one...in my mind. I try every year to grow delicious vittles my youngsters can graze on, and I'm learning slowly. Each year it gets a little bit better. Can't wait to learn from more experienced gardeners why my tomatoes, so lovingly cared for, got blight. What to do when a bear breaks my apple trees or deer nibble every.single.green.shoot from my fruit trees (like last year).

On my way out to do a bit of mid-winter pruning on my baby apple trees, plum, and blueberry bushes (the one thing I can grow without great effort).

Looking forward to some tips/ideas on starting an herb garden too this summer! I cook and cook and the fresher the herbs and produce the happier I am! :)
