Hello all, joined for help with a very large plant

hi, I joined to see if anyone could help me with a bottle palm that has outgrown any pot I can find for it. It's about 9-10 ft tall now and it's poor plastic pot (24 in) is hanging on by the the rim. Otherwise split open completely on one side. Does anyone know where I can find at least a 30 in diameter pot (preferably 36 in) for no more than 200 dollars?? I've looked online but am looking at 500 dollars minimum, it looks like.

Depending on where it is, you could look at some rubbermaid stock tanks. Or google making cement planters.

Go to a local nursery that sells trees. They often have large plastic planters just stacked up in back, waiting to be hauled off. You could also try a big box store that has a nursery department.

Or you could make one out of old railway sleepers usually available from reclamation yards
