Thank-you very much. I see a lot of the "snowball" varieties around here, but this one really caught my eye. See the attached portrait I posted on Flickr. That lacecap is very photogenic! I didn't want to post it until I knew what it was.
We took a drive out on the weekend to Kaisei which is about an hour from where I live. They were holding a hydrangea festival. I love the rainy season here for this very reason! Also, I think the beauty of the rice fields against the hydrangeas is quite striking!
