Hi
I have found a systemic product to kill armoured scale that will go from leaves to roots . (Bayer movento). It is mainly targeted at fruit crops . It also has imidacloprid as the second active ingredient . I have used imidacloprid systemic ground drench in my box hedges for soft scale and killed them all without affecting the hedge itself although imidacloprid alone won’t kill armoured scale .
The other ingredient in Movento is Spirotetramat it is targeted at fruit crops . I can’t find any information if it is suitable for hedge plants . Has anyone used this product in garden plants .Any advice would be greatly appreciated .
