Hardy plant recommendations

Hi all,

We are looking for recommendations for hardy plants that have colour that we could put in our garden.

Any help would be most appreciated

It's a large north facing garden that has the possibility of sun from the morning until about 4 or 5 o clock in the evening. Hope this helps

Nope, I just go to the library and pick up whatever they have.
Then I have a piece of paper and start planning what should go where, heights, colors, when blooming etc. Haphazard picking does not make for a visually appealing garden. Fine Gardening Mag also neat for ideas.

@Giraffe76 ,, what the both of us are saying. is go look in other places. I am not saying that this place is not a good place to go, but it is only one place. There are so many other places to learn from. And multipule areas give you different ideas, and word things different.

Haste makes waste when it comes to gardening. Selecting the right plant saves you money, and time in the long run.
