Yes, Merry Christmas!! And Hanukkah (first night tonight) and all those other weird winter holidays.

We have lots of snow on the ground so it's going to feel very Christmassy here. I remember being so amused when I had friends in Arizona and visited, and people were hanging lights and decorations and Santa hats on saguaro cactii that are everywhere down there.

No snow here yet although it's been pretty chilly. We only tend to get snow in Feb/March time, which is a shame because it would feel more Christmassy with a light dusting of the white stuff!

Rather than that exact same Christmas celebration we swapped ours for an even hotter one in Malaysia with our son, his wife and in laws. Rather more sedate.

Our Boxing Day celebration, delicoius but i don't want to look into those eyes!
