Gutter Gardening

I need my neglected gutters cleaned, and was wondering...can you put that debris in your garden? Well, of course, I can, but is it
a bad idea?

I don't see why not? It's the same stuff that drains into my water barrels that I use to water the plants with. At the end of the season I dump the water and that stuff is on the bottom, I dump it into the garden.
