Growing Apples

Hi everyone, I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and I have been successful at germinating seeds from Golden Delicious and Royal Gala fruits from the store. I look forward to sharing photos and getting advice on growing and grafting.

If you live in Trinidad and Tobago I don't think you will have any success at all in producing apples. You MIGHT be able to grow a tree but it will never produce the first apple. Why? The Golden Delicious requires about 650 hours of below 45F (7C) temperatures. The Gala requires about 500 hours. The coldest recorded temperature was 61F (16C) in 1964.
