Hello all
I live in Ohio and I have been dragging my feet on finishing the beds for winter because the gladiolus leaves are still green since we still haven't had a killing frost. I always waited until the leaves browned before cutting them and digging them up under the belief that as long as the leaves are green that they are still feeding the corm. Seeing how it's been 3 months since they've bloomed i would think there is no harm at this point in removing them I still hesitate because there is a lot and I would hate to cause harm out of impatience. Any advice? Can I cut them back while green?
