Hi! I have a small ginkgo which had a shoot/ growth point/ cluster of leaves on its own a little lower down on the trunk from the rest of the branches. I don't know if it was the beginning of a branch but I was kinda hoping it was because I like how messy and random ginkgos can be in their shape. Anyways my young cousin broke it off - as in the cluster of leaves with the little growth point attached. I was wondering will it grow back or is more growth likely to pop up in the same sort of spot in the future?
I'm fairly new to gardening so any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
