I'm sick of searching through local garden stores trying to find the exact species of trees i want. So I bought a bunch of seeds on ebay and I want to germinate them and start growing them indoors in little pots, then when the weather is good I'll move them outside to larger pots and eventually plant them all.

So I've googled about germinating tree seeds but the most common info I can find is that all tree seeds are different. There's a bunch of different ways to do it but I can't find any info that is specific to my seeds.

Soooooooooo I figure I'll just ask here. These are the three tree types I want to grow. And I actually want to grow a bunch of each. I hope these seeds are "ready to go" and will start growing with a short germination. I've seen some posts that say it can take months of germination before the sprout! Either way, I'm going to start them all now and hope of the best.

The last time I germinated seeds was about 35 years ago in middleschool. We put them in a wet paper towel and put that in the fridge. I think those were bean seeds or something. Is that the best method here? And then plant them once they star to sprout? So check on them every day or every few days? Are there better methods than that? The Shantung maples are still in their "helicopters", should I peel those apart to some degree? I'll appreciate any suggestions!

Also as a side note, isn't it funny how the smallest seeds by far belong to the tree thats going to grow the largest by far! Nature, you crazy.
