It's that time of year. The new seed and supply catalog came in the mail! I was skimming through and I can already tell I am going to have a hard time trying to decide which veggies to grow based on space, time, money, and my physical ability. I don't want to be overly ambitious, but I want to really produce something from my garden this year! There is sooooo much to choose from. I really like the deck container corn. We eat so much corn on the cob in the summer and I won't have to take up any of my plot space for those. You guys get your catalogs yet?

So far we have received Territorial Seeds, Jung's, Shumway's, Totally Tomatoes, Southern Seed Exchange, and Pinetree. I sent my order to Pinetree last week, and am considering ordering from Southern. I always order too many seeds, start too many seeds, and end up with a crowded garden!

Oh wow! I've only ordered from Burpee so that's the only catalog I've gotten. My mom gets dozens of catalogs. She has a crazy crowded flower garden. My stepdad hates it because it's not symmetrical, but my mom loves it because it's colorful and always blooming. I have one flower garden out front that I have nothing in yet. I shaped it and put weed cloth down last year. The lady who lived here before did not have any gardens out front. I have no idea what I want to put in it! It's a total blank slate.
