I'm a little bummed out today ...looking forward to my vegetable garden and flowers has kept me going through the winter...I've recently had to add several more hours to my work week for undetermined amount of time ....I don't know how I'll have any time for gardening which is always my happy place and stress relief

Advertise a course on stress relief for overworked people that involves gardening and charge folk for supervising them weeding and planting out flowers

You supply the tea and biscuits and before you know it you'll have a full time job.

They do it in England, it's called "The National Trust"

Part of life unfortunately to have disappointments along the way. Just keep thinking this will pass. I know I went years never having any major holidays off due to work. Most time I worked 50 hours a week and on call 24/7. It is what it is. Try to position vacation time in certain places to take a 3 day weekend, checking weather first of course.

At least the days are getting longer, I hate it when it is getting dark before four, love going out for a potter after dinner when it's full Summer.
The thing to remember about work is you can move on, I probably did that far too much according to most 'sensible' people, but I enjoyed it.

I started working Saturdays to lower my workload for the coming gardening season. Not sure it's working.

Like Cindi mentioned it's my happy place so somehow I will manage. Sick days, vacation days and holidays are always there to have fun in the garden. I look forward to that.

Zone 5b start spraying your fruit trees and fruiting bushes.
