This adjustable garden trellis for cucumber/pea/bean vines is a quick project for the vegetable garden. The trellis gets the vines off the ground and is more productive in less space. No giant rotting cucumbers to find three weeks after the rest have matured. It is made from small lumber and twine. Paint is optional but gives a nice pop of color. Just in time for the rapid growth of summer!

Did you make this yourself or is it a kit that can be purchased at the big box store? I could use something like this but I do not have the tools to constuct it.

Looks like the OP also made an instructables page for the project, link in the first post:

Very nice! I think a hand saw and a drill would do the job if you don't have the larger power tools and equipment.

I made it myself. It's a simple project with very little tools required. You could even get Home Depot or Lowes to make the cuts for you.

What a great idea and I bet it works beautifully. I often have off cuts of wood and our local hardware store has given me some scraps out of their off cut bins for little projects. I think I'll go ask for more. Looking forward to seeing yours mtairymd, covered with cucumbers

Scraps from a hardware store is a good idea. You can also use pallet wood as well.

I hope it's loaded since I promised our local pickle maker lots of cucumbers this year :)
