Hi there, I am growing poppies (Flanders red) for a wedding on the 8th of February 2025.
As it’s very hot in Australia I decided to grow them in a grow tent underneath my house.

The poppies are already flowering after only a month and it’s way too early for the 8th of February.
Should I be removing this flower to let the leaves grow more or should I let the flower grow and remove when dead and should this keep flowering until the February date?

The grow tent keeps around 22-24 degrees most days which I know is too hot for young poppies but it’s the best I could do.

The poppies have a very good LED grow light inside and that is what causes a lot of the heat which is why I have an exhaust fan and 2 oscillating fans to keep fresh cool air on the poppies.

I have attached some pictures to show what I mean. One picture shows the flower around the 25th of November the other photo shows the flower today (the 22nd of December)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
