My fiddle leaf is about 2 1/2 ft tall. It’s in a pretty big pot which I made a mistake of doing. But he’s doing well so I’ll keep him in it.
My question is do you think I buried it deep enough or is it too exposed and I should put more soil? Any advice would be great!

@Cindy , Hello

If I'm not mistaken it's the Bambino version? Anyway, I think it's under control, in my opinion - no soil needs to be added or taken, you can see the stem sort off moving to the side a bit, than drowning in the soil, and the roots look okay too.

If you want, you can add a little patch of soil on the stem, when he becomes multiple little stems that lead to the roots.
Except for that little thing, I think the plant is in okay condition.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for your advice Yinon!
It does seem to be doing well. Considering it’s been outdoors. But due to the extreme heat I brought it inside. I hope it doesn’t shock it. I don’t think misting does anything but I’ll do it till I know it’s okay being inside the house which it’s not used to. And I’ll keep the soil at this leaves too.

thanks again!

Glad I could help.

I have to point out, you are completely right: It's not really good to move the plant too much, especially if the different places have big temperature/moisture/sun exposure differences. I suggest sticking to one place, of course after you have reached a conclusion regarding a superior, much more suited place for the plant.

Good luck.
