I'm a new plant owner and am trying with a false aralia. I have it on good authority that I have overwatered my plant and caused some leaf death but I am still trying to salvage it. Now i water it once every 3-4 days, soaking the plant and letting it drain out, which I think is the proper way. Is my plant going to be okay if I continue this or will it never be the same(it looks pretty bad right now)?

Soaking the plant thoroughly and then letting it dry out is the proper way to water but every 3 or 4 days is WAAAAY to often. Let the soil dry out a couple of inches. Stick your finger in the soil to feel for dampness before watering. Stick your finger in the hole in the bottom too. If damp don't water. I mean damp too, not wet. Probably about every 10-14 days is plenty especially during the winter.
