Hello everyone! I am VERY excited to have fellow plant people with whom I can learn from and consult!
I work as the " horticultural and botanical engineer and specialist" for a wholesaler and pet store. We specialize in plants for pet enclosures (for example, a poison dart frog habitat a frog enthusiast would provide their frog friends so they feel safe, relaxed, and therefore behave more naturally to the delight of their person), terrariums, paladariums, aquariums, and other "ariums." It was very comfortable to expand into houseplants, all of which at first started as pups and cuttings from my private plant collection. I had suffered personal tragedy and discovered plants provided a comfortable way for me to start talking and interacting again. The owner also volunteers our time, space and resources for animal rescue, which is very rewarding. So expanding the circle of people in a safe environment with whom i can discuss plants is very appealing. I can not believe it took me this long.
