I had written a post about our Star-gooseberries https://www.gardening-forums.com/threads/star-gooseberry.5165/ -one of several fruits that grow in our garden.

Erratic weather however has brought down most of the fruits before they have matured. I feel sad to see them on the ground

Oh your poor gooseberries. Spring time here is the worst for storms and hail and even tornadoes (had one go right over my house three years ago in May, it touched down about a half mile away and destroyed a store.)

In our case it is just the rain at the wrong time.

It's such a pity!:( You lost a lot of fruits. But maybe some animals will eat them?
Here, where I live, the weather has been really nice lately. It's hot and sunny.

So sorry to see that, that is indeed a lot fruit gone to the waste :( A real pity! Don't worry, hopefully next year it will be better.
