Elberta peach tree

Hello,

First time planting a fruit tree. We purchased from tractor and planted April 21st. We have clay soil and mixed it with gardening soil and manure. In full sunlight and we are in Northern California. Can anyone help us revive this tree?

Is there any green tissue under the bark anywhere on the tree? If so, there is hope. If not, it’s gone.
