Trying to harden off tomato plants in Canada & leaves are drooping in just a few hours of overcast outdoor morning light. Thought it was too much watering, but that was not the case. Bring them indoors and they straighten out to regular plants in 4-5 hours. Is that too much outdoor exposure (have been doing it off and on for 4 days now)
Any Tryinghelp would be appreciated
Non green-thumb Mark. Ps would like them in the ground by end of week????

That is very strange. What is the temp inside and outside? Post a pic of before and after.

May be a temperature problem ? U say they droop in the morning, maybe because night time temps are so low ?? Does it get below 50 degrees at night ? And how warm is it in the house ?

Indoor temp is 18C outdoor temp is 8C - 16C (46-60F)
As example, placed them outside in partial shade at 10C an in approx 1 hr, leaves started drooping, left for another 1.5 hrs, so after 2.5 hrs, placed them inside

Ive never seen plants droop in the cool at 50F and then move them to a warmer spot ~60-65F and they straighten up.

With plants of that size and a clear container of that size, you should be able to see quite a few roots growing in the media. I zoomed in the best I could and cant really see any.
