I relocated this rose tree last summer, unfortunately during the hottest day of the year. I watered it the next few weeks and I have drip system 3 times a week too. But it looked dead to me. Do you think it's dead?
Prune it about an inch from the top to see if there's any "activity." It should show green between the inner and the bark. If not try a bit lower and so on.
Most of our roses are starting to show signs of growth.
