Does anyone know what these 2 plants/ trees are please

The first was a large rounded tree in park , these were the flowers just out of interest, haven’t seen them before.
The second has been dug up and potted, when when landscaping a garden, wasn’t sure if it is worth keeping.

Not sure about the shrub, but it could be a philadelphus. I would definitely keep it to find out what it does anyway - it won`t take up much room.
Again, not sure - maybe the flower is one of the Magnolia family.
