Laurel is a very quick growing hedging plant, and our local nursery has large plants (around 6ft) for a very reasonable price. Might be a good option for you!

Plants are available but the bigger the plant the bigger the cost. Fall is the best time to transplant things like that so you should find something as long as you have the money.
