I know it depends on many factors but looking at my watermelon plant, do you think ill start getting some flowers soon?

Yes. Mature leaves come first in some quantity of course. Be prepared with something, straw or compost or even sand, to put under the fruit so they sit upon a well drained bed.

How long did it take you to get female flowers?

Did not log the date in my journal when they flowered but it seems it was at least 6 weeks after they were transplanted into
the growing area.

I grew watermelons last summer for the first time.
I remember them taking a few months to really get going, to the point that I was wondering if they were going to be successful at all.
Once they take off though they grow quick!
I had trouble judging when the fruit was ready for harvest. My tip is to leave them longer than you think.

Thanks started male flowers bloom a week ago
