DIY Insecticide

Hi All, I would like to know if anyone has made their own White Oil and added Malathion / Maldison in to it to try and replicate the David Grays Malathion and White Oil insecticide...... I am trying to work out how much Malathion / Maldison to put in to 2 cups ( 500ml ) of oil and 1 cup ( 250ml ) of detergent........... At $20 for 200ml i thought it would be a lot cheaper to make my own

Sounds like you know what your doing but I still have to tell everyone to be very careful when handling Malathion. Malathion is poison and should be handled with care.

What immediate health effects can be caused by exposure to malathion? Malathion can cause nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea, as well as confusion, blurred vision, sweating, muscle twitching, irregular heartbeat, convulsions, and death.

Well just to be blunt, I have used Malathion in the past and it stinks something close to a garlic smell. I quit using it because when I studied it the very insects it killed, Dawn dish soap seems to kill too. So why use it? And mixing it with something else may be a disaster upon itself.

Hear hear! Like YumYum says I would stick to the less toxic stuff, oil and washing up liquid (dish soap.)
