Dieffenbachia is flowering!

I've had this plant almost a year ( got it from home Depot) and it's flowering! I really never expected that. It looks pretty cool though! I think there might even be a few

Should I cut off the bloom? I've heard different opinions saying it doesn't matter, and that if it blooms it can start to die.

Enjoy it while it lasts and then remove it when it's done. It does not indicate impending death. It means it's happy!
