Almost everything is money motivated but I have no clue why there is so much stupid misinformation online. This morning I see an Advertisement that claims copper wire pulls energy from the air and makes plants grow better and faster than fertilizer. What the @#$% do LIERS get out of telling all these lies?????? Photos show copper wire wrapped around plant stakes like TV antennas to make vegetables and flowers grow better. How can people be so stupid to believer that.

There are many ADs to make new gardeners want to build raised beds. People spend 100s of dollars building 2 ft tall raised beds full of potting soil then they take pictures to show off what they built. This morning I see someone local post photos of there 10 raised bed zip zap placement all over the back yard and side yard and a large heaping pile 60 bags of potting soil to put in the beds.

Why do people think factory fertilizer that farmers use is cancer causing poison. People buy "Organic" 0-4-1 "Plant Food" 5 lb. bags for $20 each. When their plants are not growing they want help. If you tell new gardeners the truth they get mad. Bible says, There are none so blind as these that refuse to see. It has been 10+ years sense I checked the real price of Organic Plant Food. I buy from Farmers Co-op most 50 lb. bags are about $20 to $25 each they last me about 3 years. Each plant needs its own food.

Garden advertisements online show picture perfect plants in beautiful perfect straight rows with no weeds & no grass. Pictures never include plants that are not beautiful. Do people not know which plants have food value? Several different type GREENs makes a beautiful photo but greens are about 98% water and have very low food value.

OH...LOOK 1 of my fertilizer bags says, PLANT FOOD. LOL. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well I won't lie, I am building 6 10' long raised beds in my yard. But that mostly just to make it easier to mow and weedeat around my garden. I have really crappy clay soil, so putting 18" of good compost in the raised bed on top gets the plants a nice big jumpstart.

Not sure why you'd want to fill them with bags though, thats nuts. I have a utility trailer and I go to a landscape supply place and buy a yard at a time (thats about all the weight my trailer can take).

Mine cost about $40 a piece

I will say that people buying organic fertilizer and spread the misbelief that non-organic fertilizer can do things like change your DNA or give you cancer really bothers me. Once the nutrients are in the plant, its the same. The plant doesn't know the difference. I think its crazy when people are like "why would you spread 10-10-10 on your garden after you put all that work in, you could have all organic!".
