I cut these roses this morning. The artemisia makes a good filler for bouquets, but it is a bit past its prime. I use it anyway and hope nobody notices the slightly dried leaves.

Looks lovely! Freshly cut flowers are one of the things I like having in my house - they're just something that makes it feel more homely and pleasant! I also really like the use of the Artemisia in your bouquet - it looks pretty with the roses!

It looks really lovely :) Thanks a lot for sharing, I love the idea of creating your own bouquet :) I'd love to try it, but I don't have a lot space to grow roses and such, maybe one day.

It's a very pretty bouquet!:) I love roses more than anything:love:
My miniature roses are blooming too. This winter is unusually warm.

I hear you about the space side of things Trellum - I'm in the same boat! I have to buy my roses from my local florist...one day I'd like to have enough space for a whole host of flower bushes, but right now that's not the case :(

The roses are lovely looking and these beauties will cheer up a house! For some reasons, I suddenly have an urge to add some fresh flowers in the house. I think the gloomy weather got to me :)

It seems I won't have to worry about that much anymore, Amelia, it seems I'm not moving there after all. In my current house we have a spacious garden, but I haven't like doing anything to improve it for a while. I might wait until the depression settles...

That is so awesome that you still have roses where you live! It was 15 degrees here this morning and snowing. The arrangement you made is very pretty and I am sure it will brighten your home for the holidays!
