Cucumber martini

I subscribe to a few food and cooking blogs, and this recipe just dropped into my inbox. I have cucumber and mint in the garden, lime juice in the fridge, and all I need to buy is vodka (since I am not growing vodka this year, dammit ) and I can make this drink. Looks like it would be great without the vodka, actually. I am going to make some this weekend.

Gee, it looks like a neat recipe that is easy to make - mint, lime, we have that in the garden and cucumber, there's a lot in the market. The vodka is the only ingredient left, hahahaaa. But I guess I would try this sometime when we have house guests who want a drink before the steak dinner. Maybe for my birthday, I can experiment on this martini to show off, hahahaaa.

It looks so good! I can imagine it would also work without the vodka though, you could easily make a ''virgin'' version of it. Very neat, if you try it let us know how it went. I'm not brave enough to try cocktail recipes yet, but it's interesting to know when an online recipe turn outs the way you want it.

I saw several recipes to try on the site with the martini I would like to try. Thanks for sharing. I have to put these items on the list to pick up from the store, the drink does look tasty and a good way to use up some of the cucumbers we have.
