Hi everyone, I’m a rookie gardener (second year), and I’ve noticed some white deposits on the stem and soil surrounding one of my cucumber plants. Can any help me identify what the problem is and maybe how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Looks like some kinda of frass. Bugs love cucumbers. You will get to spray them a lot in defense. The bugs are a vector for mosiac virus which will harm them.

Are we talking soapy water kinda spray? Or actual bug spray?
Insecticidal soap mixed into garlic water would help. They smell food. Things that smell strong can throw them off the trail. Here is a general link.
