ive had hemerocallis for 6 or 7 years maybe... it always had lots of flowers.. But then couple years ago it didnt seem to look as good. So i googled and it said , like hostas, you should split them every few years. So i split it in 2. Oneof the parts i sat on and it didnt seem to recover and has died back and has few shoots growing. The other part is about the size it was before i split it. Its leavs are still dark green.. Its showing no signs of dying back.. And neither part flowered last year. Are they just having a gap year to recover ? Im in UK

Considering it’s January, you’re in England, and it’s not in a greenhouse, it’s looking pretty good. They should bloom nicely this summer.
how long ago did you divide it?
