Pushed up the first compost pile of 2025 today to begin heating up and killing all the bad stuff.

I'm short on hay this year due to lack of timely rains and usually make three of these much larger in size. However, I'm grateful for this start and hope to make a couple more soon.

Seriously, speaking of equipment @YumYum , I paid $10k for my small dozer I don't remember how many years ago. The same ones regularly list for $25k today. No exaggeration.

I can't tell you how much money that machine has made for me and you wouldn't believe me if I did ;) ...not to mention the fun, excitement, and satisfaction it brings.

Most of all, it is the primary enabler of my lifestyle as I approach 80 years. Without it, I couldn't begin to do what I do. It is without question more valuable to me than anything else I own. It enables my lifestyle.
