I have lemon trees and I have a citrus snow infestation. I've washed the trunks with a combination of soap, water with Neem Oil with a tooth brush. No success.
I washed them again about a week later once I saw that they had spread further up the trunk with the same mixture. No success.
I read that citrus snow have a impenetrable exterior so Neem Oil will not work. I follow an organic strategy but after reading that citrus scale have an exterior shell that is impervious to most solution I decided to do something different. I brought some Dawn Power Wash and sprayed the trunks and only the trunks. It will be a few days before perhaps I will know if it worked but in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions based on worked for them?
