Chrysanthemum like shrub

My mom has this plant growing in her garden, and about a month or two ago it had the most beautiful white pompom looking flowers. It seems like it's a relative of the Chrystanthemum. I found a picture of it online, and it's from someone in Coral Gables, so it seems like it's a South Florida plant. By the way, the shrub grows very tall, my mom's is around 8 feet.

Wow they are beautiful, there is only one chrysantemum like flower I can think of ate the moment, maybe they are some species of Dahlia? They come in different shapes, colours and sizes.

They are gorgeous.. I would love to have one.. but 8 foot tall is something my balcony can never handle lol It has to wait for my dream home then.. Let us know if you figure out the name of the plant.. it is really beautiful.
