What is the best way to utilize pelleted chicken manure in my garden? Is it best to spread and work it in in the fall so that it decomposes some over the winter months?

Probably better in Spring/early Summer so that the plants can use it as they grow.

I add chicken manure to my beds in early spring time and then once a month throughout the growing season I sprinkle some in along with potash

This is what I'm doing this year, apparently those pellets are composted and won't burn but this method sound like a good way to use them that will be faster acting.
