Cherry blossom sapplings are weeping at base of leaves

hope this isnt the start of trouble. iv noticed on multiple leaves on multiple plants. this pic shows it up the best but my camera phone isnt very good for close up.

normal or not?

Could be overwatering, I have had that around the edge of the leaf on Jade plants, or possibly high humidity meaning the plant can't use evaporation to balance things out. I don't know if there are other causes.
