Hello! I got this parlour palm 3 weeks ago. It looked great in the beginning but about 2 weeks ago the problems started. When I looked under the plastic pot it came in, I saw some brown snails/slugs in the soil where the holes are. I took em out and haven't seen any lately. I don't know why the leaves are looking worse with each passing day. I see more and more spots on the leaves and some of the tips are turning brown. I've also cut off the fronds that were completely dry (not many). It has only been watered once since I got it (which was last night). I've attached some pictures of the slugs I found and the leaves with spots on them.

Best guess is you may be under watering if you’ve only watered once in three weeks. A watering regimen of once a week or when the soil appears dry is what I have done. A good soak and then let rest, drying out for the top inch or two then watering again. This palm like bright indirect sunlight. It does not like misting full sun or cool drafts. You have multiple plants in the pot so you can remove damaged leaves if you like. Ash, sharp sand will help remove the slugs but the quickest method is simply to gently remove the plant from the pot, look for any little ball like things and squish them along with any baby slugs/snails and return the plant to its pot. I always keep my house plants in nursery pots and place them in more decorative jardinere or cachepot.
