I've had Chamaedorea costaricana palms for 15 years in Perth Australia, over the last 4 months the plant seem to have been attacked at the tops of the branches, the attacked branches are healthy and then the whole steam dies, this started form one side and is slowly spreading across. Any one know what could be causing this. Thanks
Root fungus is known for attacking a root bundle that in turn feeds the branches above that particular root cluster. Sorry I do not more about your area or details. Local knowledge can be so much more help for diagnosing problems as it no doubt shows up elsewhere locally.
