Can't identify why the leaves of my peace lily are turning brown!

Right after my peace lily flowered, the leaves have rapidly started turning yellow or brown before drying completely. Sadly, new leaves aren't growing at a similar rate. I water it every 2-3 days. I've tried keeping it indoors, on the window sill where it gets a little light. I repotted it recently and noticed that the roots are drying off too. It has come down to literally 2 leaves from a good 7-8. What's going on? What can I do? Adding a photo if it helps.

Thanks in advance.~~SR

Peace lily is a bog plant it love it's feet moist at all times, I even had one growing in an aquarium... That one might recover after a while but I'd buy a new one and keep it standing in water.

Thanks Silentrunning that's a cracker of a specimen there...
The Spathes are "designed" to grow out of the water for pollination, hence they are taller than the leaves.
Can I just say Full sun won't harm these plants providing you spray them daily (probly easier to put them in semi-shade)

I just googled my peace Lily because I didn't know what kind of plant it was. I've had this peace Lily for about 21/2yrs at least and until a few months ago it just wouldn't grow ever but it wasn't dying either. The thing that has started to make it grow was putting it in the sun but not direct sun ever. It sits in front of my window that gets sunlight in the afternoon and I water it when I stick my finger down in the soil a little ways and I use miracle grow. This plant has really taken off! It's constantly growing a new leaf on a daily basis and I seriously think it's because I have it sitting where it can get some sun! I'm so happy that it's doing so well.

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum spp. and hybrids) are tolerant houseplants, but there are limits.
Best care for Spathiphyllum is bright, indirect light, regular water with good drainage. Fertilize only lightly and infrequently.
Also, the plant photographed in the OP is not planted in potting mix, but rather in something that looks like heavy, garden soil.
In a container this could easily impede drainage and adversely affect plant growth.
