Can't find a thread I posted

I just posted a thread in the "herb" category (I thought) but now I can't find it. I can't find it in 'new posts' or in my profile area. Should I just re-post it? I don't want to make duplicate posts.

Don't you just hate that. I deleted a file in error and could not recover that file to save my life. It was like it never existed. I had to have the information sent to me again.
