My cousin gave me 2 Madagascar Jasmine's that she had got last year, she didn't really know how to care for them properly they were on a west facing windowsill in direct sunlight with no humidity, one of them looks it will probably not recover but the other one looks like it could be ok, I put them about a foot in from a south facing windowsill there are plants in front of them to block some of the direct sunlight, they're on a pebble tray and I've been misting them in the mornings ever 2-3 days

Jasmine needs bright, indirect light to bloom, but shade from hot, direct summer sun. These plants don't like to be moved and when they are flowering, moving them just a little will cause the flowers to fall. I think both plants have a good chance and will make it under the right lighting conditions. .
