Can i save this plant ?

Hi every body
I have this indoor plant for few years, it was doing great until my son broke its upper half since 4 months.
It is growing again but the old leafs are turning to yellow and diying.
What should I do to save it?

Give it moderately bright light and let it dry about 2" down before watering again.

Is this a dracaena? They can root from cuttings. If the plant's condition deteriorates you can always cut the healthy upper part and propagate it in water.

YOu can cut anywhere just above the node and root it and resprout the plant into many plants.
