Would that be too many? I'm planning on getting a 76L flexi tub and drilling holes in the bottom.

Squash have a shallow root system which means their roots grow outward more than downward. What is the diameter of the tub? Also squash are big plants. I have a 20 gallon tub with a 26 inch diameter and only 1 plant will fit comfortably. I might could squeeze in one more but I am afraid that their root systems would hinder each others nutrition uptake.

It's only 23” inches wide and 16" deep, so I guess that would be too many! I'm still pretty new to garden, so I'm still learning!

It is not recommended to plant 4 courgette plants in a 76L container. Courgette plants need plenty of space to grow and develop a strong root system, and planting too many plants in a small container can lead to overcrowding, poor growth, and reduced yields.
